Project Description:
The Walk-a-Round is a senior capstone project that came to be by the work of the client. The client for this project desired to have a walking and standing device to help increase their independence after suffering a stroke and also being afflicted by ataxia. Nothing on the market worked for the client and they had very specific customer requirements. The team for this project set out to design and manufacture a device for the client that fulfilled all of their specific needs. Through research, a thorough design phase, selection of a final design, and manufacturing the team successfully produced a walking and standing device that fulfilled the clients needs.
