Project Description:

The Realtime HMI software is a GUI software interface for Ampere Scientific’s VARmetric technology, used to monitor the Vacuum Arc Remelting process. Windows within the software display data representing the location of the arc point inside the crucible, in 2D and 3D. Plot controls are provided to customize the characteristics of the displays. A heat map displays the estimated distribution of power based on the location of the arc point, with older data fading out and being replaced by new data.
