Project Description:

The goal of this project is to design the Learning Innovation Center (LInC) at OSU's Corvallis campus to maximize efficiency and sustainability to facilitate both formal and informal learning environments within the scope of the building envelope, mechanical systems, and structural systems. The design team will take an economic approach to the design and ensure that the building continues to foster collaboration with dynamic teaching and learning support. The disciplines that will work on LInC building will be architectural and structural engineers. Both disciplines will work hand in hand to provide a structure that is safe and serviceable for years to come. The structural engineers will focus more on the design of the framing systems. While the architectural engineers will lead in the design of mechanical systems and building envelope, to meet our objectives mentioned above.
