Project Description:

Our senior project involves data transformation in the cloud. Specifically, we extract data from two campsite API's into our AWS ecosystem, transfer those data from bronze level data to gold level data, and load them into our database for data persistence. The gold level table blends the two data sets based on common variables to produce one single, simplified data set that will allow for easy correlation analysis. That data is then sent to our ReactJS frontend server to be displayed to the front-end user. From the frontend you can view all of the parts of our backend in process and watch the data go through the Extract, Transfer, and Load (ETL) data pipeline. Some of the services we use for this project is ReactJS, EC2, S3 buckets, AWS Lambda, and more.
