Project Description:
  • The west coast of the US is overdue for a massive earthquake, and planners need a way to visualize how potential earthquake and resulting tsunamis will affect coastal cities such as Astoria and Seaside.

  • Our project requires road traffic simulation, and Sumo meets this need by allowing us to implement modifications during runtime, which allows users to place objects in the sandbox to simulate disaster effects in real time.

  • Vuforia image tracking technology provides us with the ability to automate scenario-specific networks, as well as help with modifications and visualizations.

  • Finally, Unity Game Engine provides us with the framework necessary to develop our application and combine all of the essential elements into a final product.
