Project Description:

This project seeks to take a 3D object and find a 2D representation for it without pre-definition. One can simply do this by knowing the 2D representation ahead of time or by manipulating camera angles, for example in Super Mario Odyssey or Nier: Automata, where the camerawork changes such that certain portions of the game appear two dimensional but are still three dimensional. However, what if we didn't know what that object would look like in 2D beforehand? The primary goal of this library is to create a 2D representation of a 3D object on the fly without knowing what it looks like ahead of time. The hope is that it could be useful for giving game developers another tool to use in the creative aspects of their games.
