Project Description:

This project is a programming language with the goal of being able to teach students programming through the interface of board games. Many students already know board games so this is something that they will be able to relate to. One key aspect of this project is that students can learn something about programming that can transfer to another programming language. One of the main challenges of the project lies with this as the language must be similar enough to another common language while also still being simple and easy to learn. Another great part about this project is that we are running the project as a website which will allow anyone to be able to use it on any device. Students will begin to use this project as soon as this summer, but more likely in the coming fall term in Corvallis middle schools.
