Project Description:
The MusicBot is an autonomous guitar player that can recreate songs by reading data from a MIDI file. The assembly is equipped with servos for picking, solenoids for fretting, custom picks, and an Arduino Mega to control the MusicBot. Wires are carefully managed to leave some visible while hiding others to balance functionality and art. The supporting structure holds the assembly together all while promoting the ability to see the parts function. This is to create both an audio and visual music experience. This custom designed robot is designed both to play music like a human and go above and beyond human capabilities.
