Project Description: 

This project aims to create a portable hands-off prototype using projective augmented reality (AR), and the implementation of laser-based technology to solve challenges in the construction field. Some major milestones over the course of this project include integrating the camera sensor to be able to interpret G-code through the scanning of QR codes, integrating a projector the projector to project real-time information, implementing a Raspberry Pi microcontroller for information processing, and ensuring the device’s portability and usability on construction sites. While achieving these milestones we needed to keep in mind the important customer requirements and design the casing for our prototype to meet those requirements.
