Project Description:
The objective of this project was to design a system to compress Hydrogen following production through electrolysis. The goal was to determine the optimal design for safety and cost effectiveness. The design concept determined for this electrolyzer system is a multistage post-production compression of the hydrogen to reach a maximum 300 atm from atmospheric pressure.
