Project Description:

In order to treat iron, manganese, and hydrogen sulfide present in well water, greensand filtration can be used. Greensand is an innovative media used with potassium permanganate which oxidized dissolved contaminants and then filters out the particulates formed to produce drinking water. This treatment method is a relatively simple, cost effective design with a small footprint.
