All College of Engineering graduate students engaged in research are invited to apply to present at the 2023 Graduate Engineering Research Showcase, April 11, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the LaSells Stewart Center.

The showcase will feature the research of 7-10 selected graduate students, interspersed with multimedia and interactive displays that highlight the breadth of Engineering at Oregon State University for a general audience.  The selected students will benefit from professional one-on-one and small group coaching over a period of two months to hone their skills and improve their confidence in communicating their work.  Each talk will be between 2 and 10 minutes long and crafted with the help of a professional speaking coach. All college alumni, donors, faculty, staff, students, and the public will be invited to attend the showcase, which will also be livestreamed.

This is a great opportunity to receive in-depth presentation coaching, and to present your work to a wide audience of college constituents.

If you are selected to present at this event, you will need to be able to meet the following requirements:

  • Be available on April 11 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for the live event.
  • Be available on Feb. 17 from noon to 1 p.m. for a presenter orientation session.
