Our project, The Safety Doorstop, represents a groundbreaking approach to door security, specifically designed to enhance safety in educational and office environments. Our team at Mansoori Defence, comprising experts in security solutions, mechanical engineering, and product design, has dedicated significant resources to developing a doorstop that not only performs reliably under various conditions but also addresses specific security vulnerabilities inherent in public buildings.

Or project was motivated by the need for a robust yet unobtrusive method to secure doors against unauthorized entry in school or office environments without permanent alterations or complex installations. Through an iterative process of exploration, prototyping, and testing, we discovered that traditional doorstops often failed under high force, leading to potential security breaches. Our solution was to redesign the doorstop with a focus on restraining the door from the side where the door bolt slots into the wall, a feature common in virtually all door designs.

The mechanism is crafted from steel, both durable and strong. It features a unique angled design that pivots against the door securely, preventing slippage even under extreme pressure. This design not only ensures a higher level of security but also allows for easy operation by all users, irrespective of physical strength.

We believe our doorstop is not just a product but a vital tool in enhancing the safety of schools and offices, ensuring that security is accessible, efficient, and effective.
