The objective of the Psyche Tether Sample Return mission is to recover significant samples from 16 Psyche, a celestial body thought to be a protoplanet. These samples hold the potential to unravel profound mysteries of the universe. The mission employs a cutting-edge space elevator-like system, comprising a tether, two winches, a pulley, and an anchor, to safely transport materials from the asteroid's surface to an orbiting spacecraft.
