College of Engineering Unit:
This project represents a partnership with Global Formula Racing (GFR) aimed at boosting the efficiency and effectiveness of GFR's involvement in Formula Student competitions by refining the competition and testing workflows. The initiative addresses the critical challenge of devising a systematic and standardized method to manage the intricate logistics and operational demands that come with participating in international Formula Student competitions. Given GFR's distinctive international structure, which spans across Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg-Ravensburg (DHBW) in Germany and Oregon State University (OSU) in the USA, the team faces significant hurdles in coordination, communication, and resource management. This project endeavors to mitigate these challenges, thereby allowing GFR to dedicate more attention to vehicle performance and team growth—elements vital for their triumph in competitions.
