Project Description:

The goal of this project was to characterize and mitigate vibrations in a population of propulsion systems. The vibration was recorded using a technical Vibration Sensing Device which records vibrational amplitude at a corresponding frequency. The project team’s first task was to design and construct a test stand, to facilitate the vibration testing. Then secondly, produce balancing mechanisms which could mitigate the present vibration.
