8 Rivers is seeking engineering assistance in designing a chemical plant that produces sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) from biomass, in an effort to move towards carbon neutrality. Transportation accounts for around 16% of all CO2 emissions, with aviation accounting for 12% of those emissions. The use of SAF would help bring those emissions down drastically, if implemented at a full scale. This project is centered around designing the plant that produces SAF, while also looking at the CO2 emissions that the plant would produce.
